Here i will explain how to get Galactic Conquest stuff in your map:
Adding Static objects and vehicles from GC into your map..

now i will be using map editor 1.2 to add GC objects (until BC does it)

ok first...have the hoth map extracted so you can use some .con files from there to use in your map

now delete the precache.con from your map and paste the one from hoth in there

now in the init.con in the main folder you need to change the soldier info to this

now hopefully if everything is correct ...pack up your map and put in the mods/GCmod/archives/bf1942/levels then activate GC and choose your new map and blast away...contact me with any problems and i'll help you get your map working...

to get the object to show in map editor 1.2 copy the textures and standardmesh from GC into the map editor texture and standard mesh folders...they show white but you can see the object...



getting the wheels to dissapeer

heres how to get rid of those jeep wheels on the GC vehicles
in the init.con file (main folder of your extracted map)..make sure it says this (change highlighted word to europe

textureManager.alternativePath Texture/europe
now the wheels should be gone


Getting the glowing flag pole to show up:
ok to get the glowing flagpole to show up add these two lines to the bottom of the control points in the controlpointtemplates.con
